Cameron Diaz said she’d be open to returning for a sequel to the 1994 comedy “The Mask” as long as Jim Carrey is involved.
The woman is over 50 years old and never was a good actress. She is the same in all her movies, and she was famous because of her looks.
You guys honestly look forward to seeing her in movies still?
Yes there is a double standard for men and women in movies, not going to say there isn’t. Bruce Willis doing the same character a million times works since he still looks good and still is cool. But that doesn’t work for Cameron Diaz.
If you think Willis is always the same guy you haven’t watched Moonlighting. He has range. Then again you think Diaz is bad.
Edit: watch Brazil and tell me what that character has in common with David Addison or John McClane.
I would blame his excellent work in Brazil more on
John CleeseTerry Gilliam than Bruce himself. Kevin Smith has an entire bit about working with WillisJohn Cleese wasn’t in Brazil. What is going on, with everyone confusing actors in Brazil?
Thanks confused my Pythons. Terry Gilliam is who I was thinking of. The director of the film.
And in that bit he mentions that he is a great actor just a PITA to work with.
Well, that’s just Kevin. I’ve never heard him badmouth anyone. He was singing Ben Affleck’s praises before Affleck made Good Will Hunting
He literally has/had a podcast dedicated to Hollywood gossip/shittalking called Hollywood Babble-on. If you never heard him badmouth anyone Im presuming you just have seen the “Evening with” movies and never listened to his podcasts.
Listened to the podcast for a while. I don’t remember him doing anything more than gentle ribbing or occasionally making a minor comlaint about a person. He complains about events all the time, but AFAICT he goes out of his way to not ever say negative things about the people he’s worked with. The closest I can really remember is him describing Jason Mewes as a sock puppet.
They literally crapped all over Amanda Bynes during her breakdown at 18. He’s never been above smacktalk.
Bruce Willis has dementia and is no longer making movies. He did a ton of awful cash grabs after the diagnosis and before it got too bad because he knew he’d never be able to work again. Dementia is up there with cancer, when it comes to fucking awful illnesses.
Before then he did a bunch if amazing movies like Brazil.
Edit: 12 Monkeys not Brazil though both are great Gilliam movies.
Is this a joke I am not getting? Bruce Willis wasn’t in Brazil, that was Robert de Niro. Do you mean 12 Monkeys? Both were directed by Terry Gilliam, though.
Yes you are correct it was 12 Monkeys not Brazil.
Yea i would. It would be more of a nostalgia thing. Plus, you don’t have to be some savant actress/actor to be entertaining.
