    Yeah, it’s a bullshit excuse in every way. And there’s just no evidence that he has ever been diagnosed. He’s just declared it, and probably because he thinks it’s a “get out of asshole free” card, which it is not. I have yet to meet a high-functioning autistic person who has trouble with basic concepts of right and wrong. Maybe they make mistakes, but when you say, “that’s rude” or whatever, they generally acknowledge it and apologize.

    My family has quite a few autistic people in it, including my daughter. None of them would ever, ever “accidentally” do a Nazi salute when they were excited.

      I don’t see why anyone would either. It’s a very specific gesture that doesn’t really come naturally to anyone tbh. Humans don’t generally go around saluting eachother in excitement, and that goes for any salute. Nazi or otherwise.
