If an LLM can save me 30 minutes writing nice emails and responses and help me brainstorm, debug, or elucidate my thoughts then it is very useful.

Boots theory doesn’t really apply because it is the exact same phone/hardware. Plus most people don’t really care about reflashing their phone.
As for the privacy stuff I don’t really know much about it in the context of locked phones so I’ll take your word for it.
I don’t really see why people are against it, personally I never buy locked devices but they are usually a chunk cheaper and there is always an option for a locked device.
If telecoms were making certain phones exclusively locked (as in not selling unlocked phones) it would be a problem. But rn it seems that it is an easy way to save money if you like a carrier.
We don’t have the bones of gengis khan either
Try clicking around see if you can find a bios build date or version number
It will stop when they get everything from the nile to the euphrates river, also known as greater israel. The bible defines Israel as from the nile to the euphrates, they will not rest until they have “settled” the entire region
I mean i get that matrix is used by bad people, but that doesn’t mean that matrix is bad.
Any decentralized platform will have this issue with csam, but that doesn’t make ot bad. Matrix is basically what TOR is to browsing the internet, people use TOR for CSAM but that doesn’t make tor bad.
However he does raise up a big concern and thats that homeserver admins are unable to change what they are hosting which means that they are forced to host CSAM which is a really big issue
Overall tho, matrix is still a good platform. There’s nothing wrong with government contracts, its all open source. TOR was developed by the us military but that doesn’t make it bad or even less effective
That’ll just be used as a tool to discriminate against certain groups of people. If you standardize it to avoid any personal bias, then it’ll be coachable/trainable and then people will work around it.
Imo any random person should be able to run for office
Thank you!
Now, is that DevOps engineer worth that much more than the warehouse guy who picks the item to send to you?
This is going to make me sound like a prick, but yeah the DevOps guy is worth more than the warehouse guy, maybe not 500k more but still alot more.
It all comes down to how many package deliveries 1 warehouse guy can facilitate vs 1 DevOps guy. Speaking as someone who worked at a warehouse (package distribution fedex) for a short period of time, moving boxes is nowhere near as valuable.
Not to say it’s not crucial, but the ratio of engineers:package handlers needed is really high
Got this show off of 1337x
!I just started watching this! I got to the episode with CWs backstory and him being a fraud is something i never saw coming, at the same time i feel bad for him!<
!Resistance is futile!<
He worked for the military as a missile test engineer, even did an interview with a four star general. The general described the video he was making (the interview i mean) as a weapon
Its the “yeah thats what i thought”
You’re probably getting downvowted because you came off like a prick
Bro your on lemmy, most people are already de googled, almost all those who aren’t are pretty damn close
