I ran into one day before yesterday who said I was “mentally ill” because the CCP had “400 million members” and there’s no way all of them could be part of some authoritarian “conspiracy”. He then told me to get help so I could be better.
“Join the party and take the oath pledging loyalty to the party, or you can’t get this high-paying government job”
(even teachers have to join the party)
