Lol nothing says we are afraid of the working class like banning subreddits on suppressed news they don’t want us to see. I came here bc I got a warning on my account for liking a comment that said “Luigi”. My alt account got banned for sharing the DOGE email list that is public info. Fuck Reddit. I’m done.

It’s crazy to think how hard people work to evade the system that is designed to get you to leave.

Like, it speaks to the addictive nature of social media. How many hours? How much research? How many different angles of attack? All to… what? Shout “Donald Trump is a bad president” into the void amid a sea of bots and /r/HailCorporate influencer accounts? (Incidentally, RIP HailCorporate).

Redditor since 2010 here. I didn’t try that hard. I got banned from politics, thought it was a one off. Then got a post removed for criticizing Reddit’s moderation policy. So now I’m done for real.

I tried jumping off after the API removal but Lemmy wasn’t as populated back then, and there was no immediate effect to me. More garbage, but I muted several subreddits a day and carried on. Now there are real alternatives.

the ones that are evading with 100s of accts, are there to earn money from reddit. they use paid services, like proxies, anti-detect browsers, ip changes and new devices. i partially applaud them and also try to err on the side of caution, your making things worst for people by creating accs soon after getting banned and commenting so fast, i was saying on that forum that they should chill down thier activities until the purge dies down.
