    You’re comparing one random guy to a letter agency and wondering why one is allowed secrets at the other isn’t? Are you a child? And he’s not a hero, or a journalist. You’ll never be able to convince me that someone who sides with, helps, and takes money from Putin is a good guy

      I don’t care if you think he’s a good guy. I didn’t say he was, and I don’t know or care.

      My point was simple. Assange got secret information and shared it with the world. That makes him a journalist. That’s what journalists do. We wanted the information he shared. Good for us.

      At the same time, various spy agencies surely had the same data, but they all kept it secret. They didn’t want us to know, because they prefer an ignorant people.

      You can argue that Assange’s leaks were slanted. But what of it? Let’s assume you’re correct. If your government is doing shady shit, wouldn’t you want to know? It’s a strange rebuttal to say, “Well Russia is bad too, but nobody leaked their secrets! How hypocritical!”
