Ackshually… you call it a movie but it doesn’t actually move. It’s a series of still images that are played rapidly in sequence (typically around 24 frames per second) to create the illusion of movement. How could I rank these so called movies when they are simply light hitting the eye?
Not surprised at the rankings, everything makes sense for why he put it where… but the omissions are weird…
He talks about the original design of the alien in the Blob, but omits The Thing or Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Maybe he considers those more horror than sci fi? Dunno.
He also talks about how Independence Day uses the gag from War of the Worlds, but skips the iconic 1953 version. :(
