This is what you get when there’s a failure to address the issue of online conspiratorial thinking getting amplified by social media networks unchecked against a backdrop of mental health disorders that aren’t properly treated. I don’t know how you reduce the online aspect of it without curtailing freedom of speech, but it’s a real problem and it isn’t going away.
