Where im from there were a few massive commie blocks in my neighborhood and no one, fucking no one ever complained about them looking plain, people didnt give a shit and it was a nice place cuz it had parks around and plenty of open spaces, overall it was a nice place, and lively, way better than suburbia.
I meet plenty of people in Poland that tell me these buildings are ugly. Every single time I have to quip them with comparisons on how homelessness must be so beautiful then. I don’t know how these idiots exist honestly.
