Okay so he is the son, makes perfect sense.
Also, Leslie Nielsen was very good at looking serious and doing dead pan delivery, Liam Neeson is really good at that too.

I want there to be at least one joke about this in the movie
V for vendetta is my go to for a political movie.
Some thought that cartoonish villains taking over western countries while the rest of the world went to shit was far fetched but here we are.
Idk man, while I agree, I think the trump trials before the elections was the lowest point.
Homer voice: lowest point so far
Getting Luigied is now part of my vocabulary
While I haven’t convinced anyone, I have seen things shift to a more class conscience level.
Luigi might have been the turning point. Slowly right wing spaces are turning anti rich.
I haven’t been able to convince anyone, but I’ve gotten people to agree if I just focus on “I want this in my country cause it would benefit me as a working class man”.
So imo it’s less about going head on and more about finding something you could agree with and just solidifying that, if they are gonna move left it’s gonna happen slowly by them observing their life.
But movie theatres are no longer the only way to enjoy the latest films.
That’s what it offered before, if a movie was coming out, you had no choice to either go to theatre or wait like a few years until you could rent or buy the VHS/DVD.
Theatres need to offer something else now. IMO their best chance is to become “the third place” for teenagers. They can have free hang out areas with affordable snacks that you can also see a movie there later.
But we all know they won’t cause their main motive is money.
And yeah, if you only care about money, there isn’t much to be made anymore for offering a big screen in this digital world.
A post about technology on the technology community?
What year is this?
Everytime I see limewire I feel left out.
Where are my Kaaza hommies at??
Honestly? I think he was on cocaine or something at that moment, sure looked like it.
I didn’t realize we expected Oscar winners to make profitable movies.
I always thought they were different lanes.
I also like to see this analysis for 20 years ago before people went to the movies less and less.
Feel like Tarantino should be mentioned as he started his career with more niche and artsy films whereas his later works have been big blockbusters while keeping a high level of quality.
The entire article reads like:
Nah, the entire DC justice league felt shallow. It was as if they were just going through a checklist of everything they thought would make a good DC film.
They had something with man of steel, after that it was all downhill.
That makes no sense.
He is given a soccer ball to fight with
Okay that makes a tiny bit more sense but still very ridiculous.
No one is pointing out that this was inevitable result of having more options.
When I was a kid, sure we had TV and video games, but they weren’t much. There was no big library, all the better graphics games were recent, and realistically you got a few games a year.
Me and my friends went to the movies cause there honestly wasn’t much better things to do. Having a home theatre meant having a tiny screen and a handful of movies you’ve seen many times if you happen to have a VCR. TV reruns were super old and had 5 mins of ads every 15 mins.
Did they really expect teenagers to be desperate to see a new flic when it’s no longer the only way to see new content?
As a general game fan, I hope they make a great game!
Yes, sometimes, on one of my keyboards the left one doesn’t work for some weird software related reason
Such a revealing list, a lot of, ohhh, that’s why they acted in that one.
Looking at you terminator 3
No one wanted him as Batman either, so yeah, just why then?
Although politics is in everything, I’m gonna give a shot for best apolitical movie:
Kill Bill.
Not because it’s void of any political messages, but because it’s a straight forward revenge story with one man army set pieces.
It doesn’t try to say that much about society, its focus is about the relationships of a few people. Everyone can agree betrayal is a bad thing and the movie doesn’t really try to justify revenge, but just to show it in an outlandishly cool way.
