I’m someone who knows that every person is both good and bad, and it’s a struggle that every one has. Looking at things as black and white, and every human struggle as being a fight against good and evil is a very misplaced, and dangerous way of thinking.

Too many people see the world in black and white. You are either good or evil. Every person is both good and evil, but the media and propagandists want you to see one side as pure evil. Obviously it works because I see these kinds of posts everywhere. I don’t see it getting any better since everyone carries a handheld propaganda machine with them all the time.

What I want to know is; why is there an enforcement agency for alcohol, tobacco and firearms, when they are are all 3 legal?

My company used to always use 24hr time when we were using a DOS based system. Then we upgraded to Windows Server 2009 and everything changed to 12hr. I preferred the 24hr. There were less mistakes.

I’m not immune to advertising. I make a point to never purchase anything I’ve ever seen advertised. If you spend 30 seconds telling me about your product before I watch a 1 minute clip that I will probably regret watching anyway, then I will make a point to never buy anything from your company.

It’s the same way with telemarketing and scams. If they didn’t work, then they would go away. Obviously they are successful. That’s why people keep using them.
