You could say “I’m thirsty” and though not explicitly asking a question, someone might still offer you a beverage as a solution, for which you would probably be thankful.

Because (Christian) “Faith” is a unique, arguably delusional, cyclical belief system based on feelings. It’s similar to the anti-vaccine mentality of “that’s just your opinion” when it’s not. The biggest difference being that there is no proving or disproving the existence of God.
And Faith is built on this self-referential system of “you gotta have Faith in God because God is real and God is good and strong Faith will help you continue believing in God when you are otherwise challenged, and weak Faith is a sign that you are straying from God and you should strengthen your Faith by believing in God harder because God is real and God is good…”
I used to be more religious and also thought “believe in whatever you want to believe in as long as you don’t be a dick about it,” but that’s really been changing a lot lately.
Christianity has fallen so far and so many self-diagnosed Christians are just the worst type of people that I just couldn’t relate to them anymore and felt the need to distance myself.
There have probably been (speculation because I don’t feel like looking up details right now) more deaths in the name of Christianity and the Christian God than any other religion and that continues to this day.
I contribute modern day deaths from pregnancy complications deprived of needed health care, general lack of other health care for low income families, LGBTQIA2A+ suicides or other deaths, and more to “traditional Christian values”.
Christian Nationalists can go fuck themselves and rot in their own hell they hate so much.

My go to is Adele.
I picked up an Onn 4k streaming Box from Walmart for $20 that uses Android TV. It supports Bluetooth for mouse and keyboard and with a usb hub can handle additional usb ports.
Also supports more advanced tinkering if you’d like to sideload apps such as SmartTubeNext for ad and sponsor blocking on YouTube.
I think you might also be able to load a third party launcher to de-google it more, but I haven’t tried that yet.
I mean that’s already happening at some big companies now.
Will it last? My guess is no, but they’ll enjoy saving the money that they would pay human beings in the mean time.
My hope is just that they’ll suffer losses due to a drop in product quality and start struggling, but let’s face it, the big tech companies are almost never the ones’ that are actually hurt by their decisions.
Sorry if I’m unable to muster up any sympathy.
Also the phrase ‘getting tired of fatigue’ tickles me.
Yeah I think the context of you buying tickets for 2 was missing from your first comment, but I completely agree.
Same. I actually just watched it recently and didn’t think it was bad. It may not have been great but I was entertained. I did also enjoy Ms. Marvel but I also think that actress just did a great job. Gave me early awkward Spider-Man discovering his powers coming of age vibes.
Actually I’ve seen more and more gas stations start carrying no ethanol recently. It used to be extremely limited and the biggest chain I knew of that offered it was Phillips 66, but now the top 3 chains in my area offer it.
I remember stumbling across this shortly after seeing watching Dune (the original) for the first time and thinking “hey wait a minute…”
100% agree. It’s one of those songs that if I hear it or think of it, I HAVE to look up the video and watch it all over again.
First ones that came to mind was 300(say what you will). Another that comes to mind though probably not as stunning as I remember is Sin City. And there’s a third on the tip of my tongue that if I remember, I’ll edit it in later.
I barely try to explain my job to people today, particularly family.
There was a Warren Theater within reasonable driving distance that used to have a wait stuff and serve full meals, like good restaurant quality plus cocktails. They stopped during the pandemic and last I knew they never started again.
After that, meh. We have a theater closer to home that we’ll go to sometimes if there’s a discount night or something we just can’t wait for. Otherwise we wait.
And I honestly can’t tell if it’s because I’m getting older and less interested or just more cynical towards wasting money like that when I know 100% I’ll be able to watch it later for no additional cost. But I’m being it’s a little of both.
I do the same with video games anymore. I still love to play a lot when I can but I absolutely cannot justify buying a game new for full price despite seeing all my friends playing it without me. (With the exceedingly rare exception)
OpenHIIT is a workout timer I’ve used before. It can handle a simple auto repeating timer.
Gotcha, but even in that case, what’s convincing most of those average users from picking a different browser? The logo? “Ooh pretty lion?”
I watched it once to give it a chance and eh, I probably chuckled a few times. It just wasn’t my humor and felt boring. The dance was the best part but honestly it was more how Jon Heder played it so earnestly, which I get was sort of the point. I still didn’t really find that funny necessarily, just more entertaining in general.
With that said, I still occasionally quote it to my SO because I know they liked the movie and the quotes are pretty memorable.
Dude I’ve all but forgotten about this. For whatever reason, I loved this movie when I was younger. I also got it constantly mixed up with another similar movie that came out around the same time like Hollywood enjoys doing, but enjoyed Universal Soldier more.
I’ve been enjoying it. The difficulty does seem a bit increased with some enemies but I’m also on NG+1.
Playing on PS5 has been fine but there was some noticeable frame dropping during the Divine Beast Dancing Lion fight.
I’m still only partially through it, but that’s my experience so far.
