The number goes up if you know what I mean.
It’s like posting on digg via Reddit except both are self hosted instead of corporate. Instances will also defederate if they decide they are incompatible.
I heard three different Old School quotes at work today from different people in independent circumstances. ❤️
Every instance is like a different forum, and they can choose to “federate” with others to provide a somewhat seamless experience. You only have an account at one instance but others recognize that and vice versa. Each instance can have communities, similar to subreddits, focusing on different content. You can follow, comment, and post in communities hosted on other instances that federate with your instance. Each instance has its own rules and culture.
The problem is the US in the past has designed voter registration rules explicitly to prevent black people from voting.
This talk of voter fraud is a dog whistle. Election fraud is way more prominent than voter fraud.
That red one has a bottle opener
Can AI actually replace accountants? It is a field with hard rules that requires creative problem solving and I don’t think AI can reliably do both of those at the same time. Any proof that AI is taking away accounting jobs?
When I am seeding a torrent with less than 5 seeders I just let it go forever. So far I have about 15 of those. Eventually I’ll have to drop them… but I’ll be there hero until then.
You said carry in. OP said this is a cafe, so not carried in. Acquired on site = disposed on site.
Sundried tomatoes. Goat cheese.
In Brazil I ate pizza with ketchup and mayo on it all the time. It was a thing there. The ketchup was a bit thinner and less sweet than Heinz.
Spring - it’s nice to see everything turning green again but all the trails are closed because everything is a muddy mess. 40s and wet is way worse than 0s and dry.
Summer - summer where I live is perfect. 70s during the day, 50s at night. Sleep with the windows open, wake up to birdsongs. All the outdoor activities.
Fall - cooler summer with better views, leaf season here is spectacular. We also have a massive bird migration that is fun to watch. All the hiking and biking I want.
Winter - can’t get enough snowboarding and fat biking. Some days it is cold AF but that is easily addressed with clothing and gear. Sometimes I wear ski goggles to go for a walk.
So in short, my favorite season is everything but spring lol.
This looks like the font used on shroom tshirts
I play several a day in an app for the last 10+ years and don’t recall ever guessing. I do sometimes need a hint but the hint is always one of the strategies someone else here linked that I overlooked.
Forbidden by company policy. Zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol. Federally regulated manufacturing in the US.
I have worked in 6 different manufacturing companies in the US and none of them allow it. Must be a safety and liability thing.
I have read sources in the past that suggest endurance exercise can slow the decline in max HR. If I find them again I will share here.
In my own experience, I have not lost a single bpm in a decade of tracking.
It’s a good starting point at least. Some folks are lower or higher. If you regularly exercise your max is probably higher than estimated. You can definitely test it with an all out workout such as Tabata intervals and use your real max. The formulas will get you close enough until you’ve tested it. You will also find different max HR for different sports; I found I can get an extra 2bpm running vs cycling, either because biking uses fewer muscles or because I was better at it that running.
I have a variant of this I love. 2-3 lbs Chicken breast coated in taco seasoning and enough chicken broth to cover most of it. Cook on high for 3 hours. Drain the liquid, add half a block of cream cheese and half a cup of salsa, shred the chicken and add it to the now melted goo in the pot. Stir and eat. You might need some time for it to heat back up.
My other favorite is a chuck roast and a big jar of pickled peppers. Cook it for 8 hours on low. Shred it, strain it onto toasted ciabatta rolls with a couple slices of provolone and Dijon mustard.
