Ooooo honey, how much?
Ooooo honey, how much?
You absolutely don’t have to! Parenthood is not always an instant connection. I loved my child, sure, but they were more like a needy roommate to start off. I developed the bond as we went. It eventually clicked after some months.
And remember: you always love your child– but it’s okay to have times where you just sometimes don’t like them. Especially good to remember during the toddler stage!
Yeah, babies are ugly. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby I would consider “cute”. Grody little misshapen potato humans.
Yeah, it’s true.
Honestly, I didn’t even like mine, to begin with. But they grew on me. The hormones had me tolerating all the craziness that small creature put me through.
Love 'em to bits now that they’ve grown past that stage!
As someone who has a child and is also a survivor of abuse: it’s in very poor taste to compare babies to abusers.
Didn’t they take away crowd-sourced subtitles before?
Herps herps herps!!
Yeah, he’s a silkback. Less of a “morph” and more of a genetic nightmare. Definitely would never recommend to anyone who doesn’t have a ton of time & money to spend caring for them, + extensive experience with bearded dragon care. A leatherback is the best option of you’re looking for a bit of a smoother dragon!
Revy is adorable!! What breed & morph is she?
You’re correct! But he has a genetic defect, so he looks pretty different from a standard healthy dragon.
He’s a bearded dragon with a genetic defect that caused him to be born without proper scales or spikes.
Because of that, he’s a “special needs” animal, so he needs lots of extra care to keep him healthy.
I’d definitely recommend (fully scaled) bearded dragons as pets! Mine is an excellent cuddle-buddy and constantly makes me smile with his dumb goofy antics and curiosity.
I think I’d buy some bugs for my lizard. Maybe some hornworms? They’re very good for hydration and basically every reptile that eats bugs goes absolutely crazy for them!
If my buddy is happy, then I’m happy, too.
Here’s a picture of my ugly boy, Pączki.
I remember being in the Stardew Vallet subr×ddit with someone talking about their guilt pirating the game because they really really enjoyed playing it but just couldn’t afford the 15$ price at the moment.
Several players graciously offered to purchase & gift them the game on Steam.
It was so lovely.
People will happily pay for good, enjoyable games they feel are worth the price.
I’d like to play that new Princess Peach game one day, but there’s no fucking way I’m paying 60$ to play a game I’m not even sure I’ll like.
To be fair, I’m not at all offended by your desires! I understand that some folks have desires that are not necessarily rooted to reality. A fantasy, and that’s perfectly fine. Of course no one wants PTSD.
I think my concerns lie in that disconnect, though. Someone fantasizing about a threesome, meeting a historical figure, or a positive experience is something I’d understand. A desire to experience a tragedy? It’s a bit alarming. Even knowing that you’re just curious about the factual experience, the disassociation from the reality of human suffering paired with the events may cause a pause.
If you’re questioning yourself about your desires or people close to you have expressed concern over these thoughts, I’d say go to a professional and talk to someone. Otherwise, research into it. Explore these events, read, watch documentaries, interviews, and things like that.
The human mind is a weird thing. Not inherently bad– just weird. And it’s okay to explore that and think about things sometimes.
Excellent.
Thank you!
I am a sufferer of PTSD from various horrific traumas.
In short: yes. It’s weird. You should talk to a professional about it.
If I could take away these debilitating, paralyzing memories and responses my body has formed due to trauma, I would. It prevents me from living a normal life and I suffer from it every day. Even have a note in my charts that lets medical professionals know that my massively elevated heart rate & blood pressure are a trauma/anxiety-response, not an underlying condition.
I guess maybe I’d view your desire as those kids on Tiktok that were mimicking/cosplaying mental illness, autism, & Tourettes syndrome, because they didn’t really understand the implications of suffering that a lot of folks who have those things go through.
Again: I’d strongly suggest seeing a professional about this.
Thank you. She’s an incredibly talented writer and ridiculously creative, thoughtful, & kind. She was only just starting to live her life independently, and it was ripped away from her with the diagnosis.
We need to advocate for those who struggle to / are unable to do so for themselves.
My little niece just turned 19. Weeks before her birthday, she was diagnosed with cancer and is currently going through chemo.
These people can go to hell if they think they can put her even more at risk because of whatever shitty agenda they’re pushing.
Party of freedom… fuck you, fucking fascists.
Pretty sure the game was made purely to sell merch, tbh. The more eyes on it, the more they can sell “stuff”.
Also, check out what I found while out and about yesterday! Hilarious.
Aye. Anyone who idolizes Rorschach is the same person who idolizes Tyler Durden — they’ve missed the entire point of the character in the story.
