Thanks for clarifying, but sad to hear.
Basically. It’s a complicated economy issue. But lets say there’s not just monetary debt, but also structural debt. Our infrastructure is old, a lot has to be repaired by making debts. But they refuse to, thing is, the bridges will collapse at some point, literally, if you don’t build new ones. This will all come back to hunt our economy as no train will deliver, no truck will be able to use the highway as a lot of bridges are broken. Same with schools, you get less educated people, which then on average produce less wealth. In short term you save money, in the long term the world will move on without you. Every economist knows, a little debt is perfect as it works in sync with the capitalism we all live in. However the payment for the dept shouldn’t outgrow the economy, that’s the only rule. Making no new debts sounds good on paper, but no young person will say “thank you” when they grew up with bad education, a broken economy and an inhabitable planet. Now is the best time to make debts to fix big issues.
Germany’s
autobahn bridgesfalling apart
Thanks to not making any debts. It’s all the infrastructure, I don’t think a single one isn’t about to break down.

A sad and dark day.
A very positive but also very scary article. Less war is good, but non democratic countries can still force people to fight, while democratic can’t as much, causing a power imbalance.
Yes, audio is important too. I’ve played games that had almost no graphics but nice music that pulled me in. I’m a bit strange on even overlooking flaws, as long as the music is fantastic.
In my eyes games are the peak of art. They combine clever game design, mechanics, image, physics, story, music and sound and more.
I enjoy good stories, I’m just rarely surprised by a twist or enjoy following long expositions. I prefer “show, don’t tell”. I prefer open world sandbox games. The more details, the more graphics, the better. I can create my own story if I want to.
Microsoft bought Mojang after a few years.
A game can only give you so many hours before it becomes boring. Sandbox games aside, most are done after 100 to 200 hours. More content wouldn’t really revive them as you already know the gameplay loop.
Graphics isn’t as important as art style, however I’d rather play a game with realistic graphics but lack of distinguishing art direction, than one with art direction but overall being too basic with their graphics. Graphics is a huge part of immersion to me.
I play a lot of indie games with poor graphics. Best example Minecraft, but when I can install higher resolution textures, realistic lighting and animated foliage, it is eye candy. I can just stand there and look at the beautiful world and relax. I do need zero gameplay at this point and am still entertained.
Gameplay is overrated, give me pretty graphics. Be it realistic or not.
Yes finally people get it.
It’s just an Interstellar 2 ad
After Endgame I think only the spider-man one’s are okay. I stopped watching the rest because I’m pretty fed up with the MCU and going by all their business decisions lately I highly doubt I’d like any of the new content.
I want more movies like Logan, hyper realistic down to earth heroes. Let Denis Villeneuve direct one.
A Place Further than the Universe
Even embedded ads will always be detectable because they always stick out. Be it audio, video, frame timing or the simple fact that an ad is always the same. They’d need to random generate dynamic AI ads and I don’t think we’re there yet, nor would most companies accept the possible public outrage when the AI content has a glitch or a different dynamic than what the marketing had in mind.
I never believed it because progress wouldn’t be that fast and someone certainly would’ve started to blame a company or organization for delivering all the hardware and installing the infrastructure. Which then would be illogical because how would tribal people pay for this? I think even in the poorest countries of the world, internet doesn’t magically drop out of the sky for no money.
I usually try myself and if I can’t progress a quest, I carefully read the wiki to the point on where I’m currently stuck. I never do that for bosses unless it’s a gimmick fight. Like anybody remember that giant, you could ONLY beat by picking up a sword, on a corpse, behind a pile of stuff, in the very same boss battle arena and then quickly equip it mid fight? Something like this sounds neat on paper, but plays horrible if you have people not knowing this fine detail.
I remember when I stopped worrying about death, because I had seen enough of the world.
Make a photo. Great meme potential
YouTube shorts are already a thing.
