Just look at that word salad. I bet getting dressed is a real struggle for him

I currently use Gnome on my laptop, but I’ve toyed with returning to KDE for a while. I used KDE briefly back in the v3 and v4 days felt like it was a bit bloated compared to Gnome v1 and v2. Cinnamon is nice but a bit heavyweight on graphics. I should probably return to XFCE or Mate.
Yep - it’s one of the reasons Miami sees so much Trump support.
Although it is common to use churches as temporary polling places, I wonder how much ballots may be influenced by the location.
I haven’t read the entire article, but this raises some interesting points: https://theconversation.com/voting-while-god-is-watching-does-having-churches-as-polling-stations-sway-the-ballot-144709
Well that was an interesting rabbit hole. There have been a number of new studies in the past decade, and researchers are still investigating the effects of free fructose in sweeteners.
This study is fairly recent: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8188419/
This study notes how the actual amount of fructose varies from the expected amount in popular beverages: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0899900714001920
Every study I read continues to point out that sweeteners with free fructose taste sweeter and have negative health effects in large quantities while stating how results are inconclusive due to excessively caloric intake. I’m still skeptical of HFCS for now.
Yes but I like making cheap jabs at the drink industry.
On a serious note - you’re absolutely right to avoid sugar, and I stopped drinking sweetened beverages many years ago. From what I understand though, people would develop fewer health problems if they consumed cane sugar instead of HFCS. Apparently the unbound fructose makes a difference when consuming sugar at such a high volume.
Sugar or high fructose corn syrup?
Ok so you don’t believe you’re spreading misinformation. You are, however, spreading information that seeks to undermine US government institutions.
We can debate all day, and both of us will be at least partially incorrect. Many of our problems can also be attributed to religious institutions. There is one hill I’ll die on though: Trump is an evil bastard.
You’re entitled to that opinion. That’s why I assumed you to be in the latter group.
I’m certainly wrong about plenty of things, but I have seen too much violence and hatred grow out of Trump’s first presidency. I do not share your desires for the US.
No. I believe you sincerely disagree with core tenets of US government and wish the government to be dismantled.
I believe you’re in the group wishing for a disastrous outcome.
I just wish we had STAR voting so additional candidates wouldn’t increase the risk of Trump winning the election. So many people are either blind to the present danger or they spread misinformation because they hate the US.
Interesting question. I don’t think I’ve ever defended either. I’ve also only lived in capitalist countries, so I have no personal experience with other economic systems.
These remarks could discourage others from reading a useful and well-written article.
I still use GnuPG on occasion, but I’ve benefited from incorporatingsops
and age
into repositories. They’re pretty slick.
You do you man. I’m just trying to share some information that helped me.
For what it’s worth, some say that PGP is bad and needs to go away. I found that article pretty interesting when learning sops
.
Thanks for the explanation. I’m in the Xennial cohort, and I never could develop an appreciation for gaming lexicons. I know every generation has their slang, but it does add some challenges with a broader audience.
I’m so glad to see some progress at last.
On a side note, I’m not sure what your last sentence means. I keep seeing people use the word “based” but I refuse to look it up 😄.
Hell, we already wouldn’t be here without them.
