I mean yeah if you enjoy the homelab project aspect of it that’s great, personally I was looking into setting up a similar stack when I stumbled across a reddit post of someone who had a similarly huge library that was collecting dust because they just used stremio all the time instead.

this is a fully integrated frontend that looks like a proper streaming app using a debrid service to provide the content, it’s a wooooorld of difference.

much much much more convenient and less AP than traditional pirating.

look up a guide on how to set up stremio with torrentio and realdebrid. takes all of 15-30 minutes to set up and $15 for 6 months of being able to stream practically anything all in one place. ad free

hahaha it’s gotten called “already dawn” or “after dawn” a lot because they shifted it from cool lighting (that looks like the middle of the night lit by moonlight) to warm lighting (that looks like evening or morning light) so I thought “night and day” was a nod to that. the graphical fidelity is a lot better, but it wasn’t even bad in the original and the mood shift caused by the lighting change seems very unbefitting of the story and it also seems like they’ve cut idle animations? which is an insane choice the characters seem so dull and lifeless without them

they’re playing wack-a-mole because there’s no possible way to preemptively ban bots, but they’ve done a good job of it and will continue to.

they’ve done a really good job culling the bots in osrs, imo the biggest hurdle in it is the long boring grinds it takes to get to midgame pvm where it starts getting really really fun.

I’d also say that if you think rs3 is the default game you are very mistaken

osrs has been the more popular game by far for almost a decade now.

I would highly recommend doing some scurrius, very forgiving and great at teaching how to react to prayers and move away from bad stuff falling on you.
