Being able to block link posts by host. It is the one of the reasons I use mbin more than lemmy.

5·29 days agoEven successful companies themselves take care in not putting all eggs in one basket on anything they do. Having alternatives is a life saver. We should ensure that we have alternatives too.
The fediverse is formed by a lot of servers that contain each communities. Each server still has some room for their own ways of doing things, so there can be nuances to be paying attention to.
I don’t like ads, but for paywalls I just close the page like it was a 404 error.

It is something that I always wanted because I’m paranoid of extensions hiding tabs in the background and I’m always trying to avoid it.
Edit: Apparently it is just the old tabs menu near the close button that now is also showing the hidden tabs?
I don’t think that’s exactly right. to create a plane you only need 3 points and 4th point can be on a different height than that plane. A different thing is when the ground itself is uneven and you manage to make both fit to the same shape.
One mnemonic is to imagine yourself opening a jar.

My conspiracy theory consists of being very suspicious of the people talking about the conspiracies, more than the content of the theory itself.
17·2 months agoI’m not sure that is as useful as it sounds. Yes you are trying to establish some pressure but then you might get lost on technicalities of their actions instead of focusing on the bigger picture.
Leaving the others aside, the last one is quite unsurprising considering the meaning of the acronym…
It’s not as easy as it sounds, just by ignoring all news and meme communities the content slims down quite considerably.
