that’s interesting. i’d wager propaganda only works that way when it’s winning. but that’s difficult to gauge these days. propaganda is more segmented and social media is more “federated”. hell, trump’s social bs exists via mastodon.

31·1 year agonot long before dropping out in the 90s in a conservative, backwards, rural area – the need to cite sources and do extensive research, and have a willingness to have my ideas challenged, was something I grokked from high school. i don’t expect much from from West Virginia, but I didn’t then either.
