Having seen a solar eclipse back in 2017, I can say it was truly an spectacle. But I don’t see traveling anywhere just to see another one - I mean it’s interesting, but it lasts maybe two minutes and then it’s over and back to normal. And I don’t see spending all that money when you can get the best view of it watching news coverage on TV.

Every time there’s a solar eclipse, a blood moon, a super moon, or any other astronomical phenomenon, we never can see it here in Utah, it’s always far too cloudy and too overcast to see anything. Same with this Monday’s eclipse, though even if we could, we only would see a portion of it anyway.

Well I’m sure it wasn’t Israel’s fault, he probably got in the way of their bullets. Of course killing humans at Easter is what the Jewish state is best at, so we should shove our easter eggs up our butt and thank jesus for this wonderful world of bloodshed and murder that israel helps make happen.

Well it’s sort of like Mohammed - I’m sure that a person with that name DID exist around that time at some point. And maybe they were a teacher and a self-proclaimed “speaker for god.” But so was Charles Manson and David Koresh and Jim Jones and Joseph Smith and many other horrible cult leaders.

There never has been any “god” in the way we mean it, so there could never actually be such a thing as the son of God, nor any need for one. If we were smart as a species, we’d see why it’s more important to support human beings than go around believing in religious nut jobbery.

No I’m not saying the West is much better, but at least here we treat women with the same dignity as men. We spit on all of them, but at least we TRY to say we treat men and women equally.

I’ve never understood exactly what makes the male sex supposedly so superior. From what I’ve seen they are decidedly mediocre as a sex, very egotistical, gun loving, hate-filled, quick to anger, slow witted and quite dirty minded, with brains that make war and other filth. All of our countries should be imposing bans on ANTYHING being imported from Israel ever again, and from anything they produce being brought overseas. Israel is a cesspool of murderous hate, and we cannot and should not support hem in any way, in any form, at any time.

According to polls published in USA TODAY and on NBC Nightly News, there’s a 75% chance Trump actually will be re-elected. People hate him, but see him as the only one who can pull us out of rising inflation.

Well I’m no longer going to be leaving the US, though that was my first plan. Instead I’d gladly stay and watch it burn to the ground around me when trump gets re-elected (and note, it’s not even in doubt anymore - he WILL get re-elected).

Bullshit indeed, but there is not one thing you or I or anyone in this country can do about it. Trump has us all over a barrel, and we’re all his puppets, and there is no way forward but to accept his will no matter what else happens. We must start to see him not as a traitor, but as a savior, for who else but a savior could escape so many serious charges.

I totally agree, anything that takes people’s eyes off the road is not a good choice to put into cars. Cars may have more safety features than ever, but let’s face it, drivers are still too easily distracted and too careless. Here in Utah we have so many highway fatalities every day, people driving the wrong way on freeways, and speeding around school buses with their stop signs out. There’s no good fix for “stupid.”
