Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a message of support Thursday for Elon Musk after the world’s richest man was accused of making a Nazi salute.
Musk “is being falsely smeared,” Netanyahu wrote on X, the social media platform owned by Musk. “Elon is a great friend of Israel. He visited Israel after the October 7 massacre… [and] has since repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel’s right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes who seek to annihilate the one and only Jewish state.”
Musk later thanked Netanyahu.
Okay… Because I’m morbidly curious I guess, uhhh, what exactlt do you think nazis are most famous for? Like if you had to guess say one or two policies (hint, they might have affected gas prices?)
I’m very well aware of the Holocaust, thanks. Not only is it taught in schools extremely extensively where I live, but I have family near Kraków, and I’ve been to (relatively) nearby Auschwitz 4 or 5 times.
You’re obviously hinting that someone who is Jewish cannot be a Nazi, but that’s categorically untrue.
There were Jewish Nazis in 30s/40s Germany/Austria, and there are Jewish Nazis today.
Netanyahu is genocidal. He is racist. He is trying to create an ethnostate. He is expansionist. He talks of getting rid of undesirables. He defends people literally doing Nazi salutes.
He is a Nazi.
Nazis were also famously fascist, had no elections, had a strong security system to squash internal dissent and brooked no protest, none of which apply to Israel.
I get the appeal of labelling things you oppose as nazis but you can’t just pick and choose what aspects fit and then apply the term nazi, it just makes us look dumb.
When someone gets banned from a site and complains that site is run by nazis, if we’re using your standard of picking and choosing then that person is as correct as you are as the site is allowing no dissent and removing those who do. But in reality (I pray) we both look at that person and think less of their complaint because of the silliness of their comparison.
If you think what Israel does (genocide, expansionism, racism, building an ethnostate… you know, objectively the actions of a fascist government) is tantamount to banning someone from a website then you are so far gone that it’s pointless even trying to reason with you, so I won’t bother.
Goodbye.
You are so close to getting it. Yes, comparing the Nazis to banning someone from a website is fucking dumb and makes the person making the comparison look silly.
Using nazi as a perjorative for any group committing an act of genocide is the same.
Comparing what is happening in Gaza with the Holocaust (which is the implicit association you are making when you call groups nazis) is fucking stupid. One was arguably the worst thing in human history whereas what’s happening in Gaza is the same sort of thing that’s been happening constantly across the globe for decades and is happening in three different places right fucking now.
And the sense of scale is insane. Including all Palestinean deaths, 45k in ~ 15 months of fighting (including civilian and Hamas fighters) you could run these casualty rates for **25 years **and not match the deaths in Auschwitz alone (more than a million, almost entirely civilians.)
Labelling Netenyahu as a nazi demonstrates you are either woefully ignorant of the world beyond your social media feed, or have a literally childlike understanding of relative magnitudes, same way my friend’s toddler cries at horrific injustices like bedtime and no candy for dinner, to her these may actually be the worst things she recalls but that’s part of being a child.
And of course there’s the delightful soupcon of stupidity in calling the leader of the Jewish state a person that literally most famously hates Jews. Just, you look so stupid on so many levels that it makes all us adults who oppose the war look dumber by association. That’s why it is infuriating; not only is it a foolish comparison but it makes everyone who is against the war look like a similarly ignorant goof.
Lol you’re either trolling or are a giant moron who thinks basically that:
if X is most famous for Y, then Y must be the definition of X, which is blatantly untrue in most if not all situations, Steve Jobs is famous for “creating the iPhone” but he never did that, nor is the definition of “iPhone creator” - “Steve Jobs”. It doesn’t even make grammatical sense.
Even on like a blokey common sense level Nazis weren’t even most famous for the holocaust to the average room temp IQ ignoramus, they were most famous for WW2.
Epistemology isn’t jeapoardy and words have meanings that you can easily look up in your free time on websites like google.com and Wikipedia.org or even a dictionary of your choice to start with, all without wasting time of commenters here.
Blocked.
That’s some impressive silliness.
Are you aware that Nazis targeted more than just Jewish people? They rounded up and killed gay people, Romanis, Slavs, and anyone else who wasn’t part of their chosen in-group.
So to answer your question: Nazis are most famous for rounding up and killing millions of people whom the Nazis felt were subhuman. They were famous for working to create an ethno-state.
They were also famously fascist, had no elections, had a strong security system to squash internal dissent and brooked no protest, none of which apply to Israel.

Instead of mass shooting jews, Israel masd bombed palestinians. Both also used starvation as a weapon amd systematic torture
Nazis were also famously fascist, had no elections, had a strong security system to squash internal dissent and brooked no protest, none of which apply to Israel.

Didn’t police beat israeli protesters in Tel aviv for cease fire? Isn’t israeli police always beat anti zionism ultra orthodox.

Do you really believe protests like these would have been possible in Nazi Germany? Like the Gestapo would’ve just been “yeah, that’s fine.”
Is this silliness coming from tik tok or are we really this ignorant nowadays?
Like i already said, many of those protestors was beaten by Israeli police. No matter how much you deny it it is a fact thst israel is using very similar methods as nazi against the group of people they treated as animals deserving to be killed
That wasn’t what I asked.
Again, could you see these protests actually happening at all in Nazi Germany?
Yes, there was protests against Nazis during Hitler reign like Rosenstrasse. You keep making minor points and ignoring all the similar terrible stuffs done Israel and the nazis
That’s the one protest, as the Reich was falling, reeling from the defeat in Stalingrad. And there were plans floated about simply shooting all the protesters.
Again, it’s just nonsense to declare Israel is now a nazi country. Fascism is very different than what Israel is.
Doing terrible things doesn’t make one a nazi, and claiming it does makes you look like a child.
