    I feel like the “if it works” part of the headline is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. The author’s experience has so far shown that it isn’t working (yet).

    I feel bad for people who are losing access to extra features that Funimation had that Crunchyroll doesn’t. People often just point to piracy to replace things that are lost like this, but that is easier said than done when some of the things lost in this transition are things like bluray extras that aren’t being ripped/uploaded like the main piece of media is. Also, not everybody is able/willing to go down the piracy route and instead are just losing something they paid for.
