So I managed to find several titles today (including the James Bond film Skyfall, but I had to bin that one as the Blu-ray was missing, but all the money is for charity so no worries.)

The Cable Guy I just fancied watching again. Haven’t seen it since I borrowed someone’s VHS copy.

I love Neil Marshall’s Dog Soldiers and Descent, so why not blind buy Centurion.

Terminator: Genisys. Only seen this once. I actually checked my watch halfway through because I was bored but when it’s so damn cheap, my OCD kicks in, and I buy it to complete the franchise set at home. Just need Rise of the Machines and Dark Fate to complete the set.

I have never seen La Planete Sauvage (aka Fanastic Planet) but it looks so intriguing. A French animation where strange blue aliens keep humans as pets.

To be honest, my collecting instinct kicked in first. I was more excited over the content rather than what the film actually is! (blame autism. 😁) There are loads of extras, 56-page booklet, the Blu-ray and a DVD.

The Cable Guy is one of my favorite movies of all time. So many memorable scenes; the basketball game, Medieval Times, the karaoke party, porno password.

Just finished watching it. It’s like a 1970’s version of Scavenger’s Reign. That is a fantastic television series that I highly recommend.

Cable guy is way underated. Underneath the slapstick humour, It’s a dark tragedy with a great prediction of future at the end.

Are any of Jim Carrey’s The first couple decades of movies underrated, like aren’t they considered pretty highly rated?

It was much less popular at the time and has remained that way, except as a cult film. The marketing was partially to blame with the initial reception, but I think people just don’t like Jim Carrey as a creepy stalker.

compared to his other movies, its underrated. as-in, it didn’t get as much recognition, while its one of his best movies in my opinion. Compare to Dumb and dumber, The mask, Ace Ventura, those movies are crazy popular, for good reason but they have no depth. Cable guy is funny, but if you look at it carefully its a very disturbing drama. That,s the part the public missed and tought, of it as an ok Carey movie.
