Oculus Rift creator Palmer Luckey announced at the 2024 Augmented World Expo that he is working on a new headset "driven" by military requirements but with the versatility to do non-military stuff.

I’d sacrifice all VR tech if it meant not giving the military yet another way to kill kids in foreign countries.
