Epic got their big break by ripping off and trying to out-Quake Quake. I’m not sure they were ever brave enough to even have an original idea.
I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
If I was a character in Danganronpa, my talent would be The Ultimate Loser and I’d be the first character killed in the murder game.

Deprogram them from what, exactly? From not being hateful little shits that wanna get rid of everything and everyone that isn’t exactly like them?
If I upgrade my machine, I am keeping TPM disabled. I don’t want Windows 11.
It’s true.
I’m a non-decent human (but a good dog) and I think Ubisoft games are soulless garbage.
I was interested when I heard it was going to be a musical.
I was turned off when I found it was just licensed music and would not have any original songs. Like… What’s the point of making a musical if you’re not gonna make new songs specifically for the story?
It means he likes to have lots of NSA sex without a condom.
Really? Can you fit in the AC vents to poop in there?
Little of both. This is where you might encounter a boot error, between the white and black screens. But I never saw one that I didn’t forcibly make happen when modding. At least not with PlayStation’s. Xbox red rings were common as fuck, and they would also occur during the startup logo sequence.
I’m glad we have finally gotten to a technological point where games just go right to the god damn menu the moment you power on the machine (or at least, good ones without an hour of unskippable logos and disclaimers), since that was what I had originally, you know, back before the CD era and everything was solid state. You’d pop in an NES, Master System, SNES or Genesis cart in, power it on and BAM! the game is already going.
Not that I am not nostalgic for the PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and GameCube startup sequences.
The rabbits could be useful in biology. Not only are they something often used for dissection, there are school-adjecent programs like the FFA where you might learn how to raise them. I raised rabbits as my FFA project, since participation in the FFA was required for the AP Biology class they stuck me in.
Haha it’s true though, most people are just, you know… People. I haven’t been everywhere, but I’ve been to a few countries other than my own and all the differences are negligible except maybe not understanding the language. You see just as many differences in culture traveling to other states within the US; but a lot of these ignorant people haven’t even done that.
It’s also kinda true that food brings different cultures together like no other. How can you hate people who make hella good food?!
Personally, I liked the original more. I just think it did the darker elements of the story way better. Brotherhood had a totally different focus, but I do appreciate it having an actual conclusion unlike the original.
To put it another way: the original makes me cry at some parts; Brotherhood never did.
For sure! I’m sure I’ve missed a bunch more that I would put in that list, too.
It’s easier to ignore ads on porn sites because they’re usually also porn, and that’s why you’re there in the first place.
I have grown to really fucking hate deus ex machina in any form. Luck is always a factor, but c’mon. It usually comes down to lazy writing and they just couldn’t be assed to come up with an explanation.
Harry in the original Silent Hill 2 was the most “generic protagonist” of any game I ever played, and I’m wondering now with the remake out, if they kept that same wooden performance and dialogue to make him just as bland as the original, or if he actually has a personality now.
However, Resident Evil being the bigger series and one of the biggest in the horror genre, I don’t really see it. The dudes are just as “action anime” styled as the chicks. Shit, they even have a sauve Spanish cowboy in RE4.
I don’t see how they could capitalize on this specific bullshit other than to just keep on keeping on and not joining Sony in requiring a new login for a service you, as a PC player, might not even give a shit about.
Unless they can get away with porting Bloodborne to PC or something… 🤔
My Deer Friend is amazing.
Which reminds me that there’s probably a new episode out right now. 😃
I also would always recommend the staples in anime:
Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Dragonball, DBZ, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rouroni Kenshin, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, and Ninja Scroll.
I just found the whole 3 day repeating cycle system to be weird and not so elegant. It’s also why I never got into Majora’s Mask.
But the other thing was super early on, it’s a fun zombie game where you’re fighting with makeshift melee weapons, but that is quickly discarded for a majority of gun fights against humans and that wasn’t what I got the game for. I pretty much stopped playing when most of the enemies went from zombies to gangbangers with machine guns.
“It’s a Zelda game. I bet I could beat Ganon with a stick. I mean, I just have to hit him 3 times, right?” - First experience with BOTW
