They really underutilize the LOTR proper recently so it’s good their doing something different with it. It could encourage more animated movies that could have really cool stories we haven’t seen yet

Looks alright, looks like they’ll nail the action scenes and artstyle. It does seem like it’s an original story inspired by LotR, is that right?

I think it is an original story set in Middle Earth. You can tell by the agency of the female protagonist that it’s not a Tolkien plot/character 😅
It looks like it’s based on a story from the histories of middle-earth about the founding of Helm’s Deep.
They probably take a lot of creative liberties with the story, but it’s at least not entirely original.

Normally I use YouTube Enhancer with “Hide Comments” checked, I just opened this on my phone on the go where that isn’t the case. I’ll look into blocking them using uBlock on my phone!
